About Us

History

Our founder, Taylor Jones, began his career in the woodworking machinery automation business in the late 1990’s, working alongside his father, Rick Jones.  Rick was the co-founder of Brooks Machinery (founded in 1968) and built the company based on the core principles of hard work, building relationships and creating a customer focused business. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, Taylor joined Brooks Machinery as a warehouse employee, then as an internal salesperson, and eventually working in territory sales. It was during this time that Taylor was introduced to the traditional relationship-based business approach embraced by his father. Taylor merged this business approach with his own passion for technology, automation, and continuous process improvement and founded Legacy Machinery in 2007. Since our founding, Legacy has continued a focused effort on improvement initiatives for the company and our customers. By making a concerted effort to apply the same continuous improvement initiatives that Legacy outwardly promotes to our customer base, Industresource was born.

As a Legacy Company, the core principles at Industresource are the same. However, our breadth of focus and opportunity has broadened significantly, and we have become a true One-Stop Resource to all industrial market segments.  While striving to offer more to the existing Legacy Customer Base, the springboard to expand the company was set.  Today, we continue to broaden the array of services offered with a fervor for investing in internal automation and efficiencies.
