System Audit
OVERVIEW
A compressed air audit measures what your system is producing, what it is delivering, and where the difference is going. Industresource uses UE Systems ultrasound and amplified audio technology to identify, assess, and address compressed air leaks, alongside performance analysis that identifies opportunities for system improvements, increased efficiency, and capacity planning.
WHY IT MATTERS
Leaks are the classic example of a cost nobody sees. Individually they are inaudible over plant noise, they never stop, and they draw compressor capacity continuously through every shift and every weekend the system stays pressurized. Finding them requires ultrasound equipment and someone walking the plant with it. It is straightforward work with a direct return, and it is the most common reason a plant discovers it does not need the additional compressor it was about to buy.
WHAT AN AUDIT COVERS
- Ultrasound Leak Detection — UE Systems ultrasound and amplified audio technology used to locate leaks through normal plant noise.
- Leak Assessment & Documentation — Each leak located, tagged, and assessed so repairs can be prioritized.
- Leak Repair — Our technicians can carry out the repairs, not just identify them.
- System Performance Analysis — Pressure, flow, and utilization measured to establish how the system actually behaves under load.
- Utilization Monitoring — Demand tracked over time to reveal the real profile rather than an assumed peak.
- Capacity Planning — Findings applied to whether your current equipment can support planned production changes.
- Improvement Recommendations — A practical account of what we found and what is worth doing about it.
AUDIT BEFORE YOU BUY
If you are considering additional compressor capacity, audit first. It is common to find that the capacity is already there and simply being lost, which makes the audit the least expensive part of the decision.
