OVERVIEW
Filter media replacement is routine work that is easy to do badly. Industresource performs bag and cartridge changes with the correct media, proper installation, safe handling of loaded filters, and verification that the system is performing before we leave.
WHY IT MATTERS
Filters are the single largest ongoing consumable in a dust collection system, and the most common place performance is quietly lost. Media that is wrong for the application blinds early. Bags that are not seated and tensioned correctly leak, allowing dust past the filter and into the fan. Changing filters too late costs airflow and energy; changing them too early wastes money. Doing it correctly, on the right interval, with the right media, is worth more than most operations realize.

- Media Selection — Bags or cartridges matched to your dust, temperature, moisture, and cleaning method — not just whatever was in there before.
- Safe Removal & Disposal — Loaded filters removed and contained under proper procedure, particularly important with combustible or hazardous dust.
- Correct Installation — Cages, seals, tensioning, and seating verified so filters perform and last.
- Interior Inspection — A filter change is the one time the collector is open, so we inspect the tube sheet, cleaning system, hopper, and interior condition while we are in there.
- Performance Verification — System checked after the change to confirm airflow and pressure are where they should be.
- Scheduling Around Production — Work performed during shutdowns, weekends, or off shifts to avoid interrupting production.

The interior inspection alone justifies having this work done by a service team rather than fitting it in around other priorities. Problems inside a collector are invisible from the outside, and a filter change is the only routine opportunity to see them.
